So…You Wanna Make Money Online Do Ya?

The question isn’t…

“Are you sitting there, dreaming of one day running a successful online business and enjoying just how easy it has become to make money online?”

But rather, the question is…

“Do you have the willingness and determination to see that very business grow from the ground up and eventually become a successful, thriving online business, not matter how long it takes?”

If so, then the next question you should answer is…

“Why do you want to have a thriving online business that pulls in $1,000’s of dollars each and every month?”

What ‘driving reasons’ do you have for becoming a successful at anything, let alone as an online entrepreneur?

* Are you tired of working the typical ‘desk job’ as well as being held captive by your employer?

* Are you wanting to go on vacation longer then the customary 14-days that the rest of the working class has to abide by?

* Do you have so much consumer debt that even if you were to pay even $100 dollars OVER the minimum payment, it would still take over 10 years to eventually pay off those damn credit cards?

* Have you recently become a parent and now realized that ‘saving for college’ can no longer be put on the backburner?

The point I’m trying to make here is that people, such as you and I, don’t start a home-based business just because we love money and want as much of it as possible, but rather we start a home based business based on wanting to pay for our kids to go to college or because we want to pay off our debt and start preparing for retirement. Some just want to find a way to make jus a little money here and there so they can finally have more money at the end of the month then there are days! (Been there, done that…never fun!)

So, in closing, I seriously suggest that before you take one more step to wanting to start an internet business that you write down exactly WHY you want to and then when you’re all done, you tape that list in a place that you will see it each and every day so as you look at it, you have that constant reminder of ‘this is why I’m doing this!’ and that you keep the “I will not fail” attitude every day!

I’ll touch on this in a later post one day I’m sure, but for now, something told me I needed to say what was on my mind and now that I have, I feel so much damn better! ;-)

Become An Online Entrepreneur: Online Marketing Revealed!

Hello & welcome to my blog!

My name is Cody Gazelle and I’m an online entrepreneur who has been fortunate enough to be able to make a living online in my own business. I’ve created this blog in hopes of being able to help those who like me, wish to break free from the constraints of working to make someone else rich, spend more time with their family by starting their own home business and in doing so, take control of their financial freedom and do it in a way that minimizes the risks, as well the learning curve by learning from my mistakes.

I started my home based business a few years ago shortly after being laid off at my job of 5 years and immediately realized that I got tired of trading my time for money, as well as not having the freedom to do the things I really wanted in life and knew that since I wasn’t getting any younger, I had better make a change and make it quick!

While I was fortunate enough to receive a nice severance package at the time I was laid off, I instantly knew that the money wasn’t going to last forever and that I was finally given the opportunity to start my own home based business…something I had wanted to do for years, but always ‘put off’ because my job and the commitment expected of me always got in the way.

So, after many hours online researching, trying to find just the right business to start, as well as spending $100’s of dollars I couldn’t really afford to spend, I finally found what was in my opinion the ‘perfect’ business model in the form of Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate Marketing is basically defined as marketing someone else’s product or service and then getting paid a commission once a sale is made. Now, I’ll admit that at first, I thought this was nothing more then a glamorous way of saying I started a sales related business, but soon realized that Affiliate Marketing is so much more then just ‘selling’.

Seeing as a LOT of mainstream companies have their own ‘affiliate programs’, such as BestBuy, TheGap, Wal-Mart and hundreds of other every day places we as consumers visit to purchase everyday items, and some not so everyday items, (Just how often does someone buy a 42-inch Plasma TV? LOL!) knowing the proper processes to follow…or what I call DUPLICATE…making money in affiliate marketing really has become quite easy for me, as well as the 100’s of other affiliate marketers that I have come in contact with through various forums and personal contacts.

Shortly after I started making money through my online business, I began to realize that what I was doing to grow my business was exactly the same process that other, more successful affiliate marketers were doing as well. With that knowledge, I finally began to understand the overall thought process that goes into creating a substantial income online and since then, I’ve not looked back.

Of course, over the years, things change in the online world and I’ve always prided myself on staying up on the latest tips, tricks and techniques in sustaining my online business and now after many months of debating whether or not to share my knowledge with others, I’ve taken time out of my busy schedule to create this blog and share with the world what I know.

I hope that by reading over everything that I reveal about how it’s possible, even in today’s current economy, to earn money online from the comfort of your own home in your own affiliate marketing business, that you’ll get a more clearer insight into the world of affiliate marketing and that by following the steps I outline in subsequent posts, you too will be able to obtain the freedom of working a job and start enjoying life on your terms, and not someone else’s!
